LG Fashion Week - PART SIX ( Sarah Stevenson)

 Sarah Stevenson

Patent: What inspired you while you were creating this collection?

Sarah: A mid-winter trip to Allan Gardens and a book about Art Nouveau.

Patent: Three words that describe your collection?

Sarah: Sophisticated, Chic & Beautiful.

Patent: What would you PATENT (copyright), if you could patent anything?

Sarah: All of my prints are copywritten because they are considered artwork which is fantastic!

Patent: Best thing about LGFW?

Sarah: The energy and excitement - it is such a rush!

Patent: Who are you making your clothes for?

Sarah: Sophisticated classy women who want to look and feel confident and beautiful.

Patent:  Fashion and society are very much intertwined. Given the slow comeback from the global recession, what do you think fashion is trying to say?

Sarah: The messages of optimism and hope were evident on the runways this season. We are looking and moving forward.

Patent: What does the theme 'Power of Style' mean for you?

Sarah: The ability to influence and inspire many people through our art (our shows). The FDCC was incredibly supportive, allowing designers to individually tailor how their collections were shown so that each designers vision of their brand would come across.
