Toronto's own singer/ producer/ songwriter, Gifty Singh is best known for his first independently release album Lovestreet. Gifty Singh strives to challenge what we are familiar with today by creating a new sound combining Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Soft rock and Alternative giving it authenticity, sincerity and realism.

"Take It Slow" is a jazz and hip-hop influenced song about a young man's journey through Toronto. Though this city is home to great art, talent and diversity, there are also broken families, violence and an overwhelming sense of loneliness. Gifty consciously explores the dual nature of city life and urges his listeners to "take it slow".
